Shakti Samvardhan — Empowering Every Child

Our Story

Born from a Parent's Frustration. Built for Every Parent's Journey.

Shakti Samvardhan was born from a deeply personal experience. As parents of a child with developmental delays, we navigated a system that was fragmented, opaque, and often indifferent to the urgency of early intervention.

We learned about physiotherapy when our child was 1 year old — not before. We discovered the need for a neurologist when our child was 2. We found out about speech therapy at 2.5 years. Each of these discoveries came too late, not because the knowledge didn't exist, but because no one told us.

We are two working parents. We don't have unlimited time or resources. But we have lived experience, the ability to research, and the conviction that no other parent should have to rediscover what we learned the hard way.

Shakti Samvardhan is our answer to the question: "What if every parent knew, from day one, exactly what to do?"

Mission

To ensure that no Indian parent loses critical early intervention time due to lack of information, awareness, or access to guidance.

Vision

A future where every child with developmental differences in India receives timely, appropriate, and affordable intervention — regardless of geography or income.

Values

Radical transparency. Parent-first design. Evidence over anecdote. Inclusion over charity. Empowerment over pity.

What Makes Shakti Samvardhan Different

🗺️

Journey-First Approach

We don't just list therapies. We walk you through the entire journey — from 'I think something is different' to 'I know exactly what to do next.'

🇮🇳

India-Specific

Every piece of content is calibrated for Indian healthcare, Indian costs, Indian laws, and Indian family dynamics. No copy-paste from Western resources.

📊

Data-Driven Advocacy

We are building India's first parent-powered dataset on early intervention delays. This data will be used to advocate for systemic change.

💰

Cost-Transparent

We tell you exactly what things cost — in Indian rupees. No vague 'consult a specialist' without telling you what that specialist costs.

Built for Working Parents

Every resource is designed for parents who have 15 minutes, not 3 hours. Bite-sized, actionable, and mobile-first.

🤝

Community-Powered

We are building a community of parents who share their experiences, so no parent has to start from zero.

The Existing Landscape in India

Several organizations are doing important work in this space. We deeply respect their contributions. Our goal is to complement, not compete — by filling the specific gap of digital-first, pan-India, parent-empowerment resources.
